San Diego Padres catcher Austin Hedges is starting on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Hedges returns to the lineup after going 0-for-2 with a strikeout in relief on Tuesday. He will catch right-hander Luis Perdomo and bat eighth versus Dodgers righty Kenta Maeda while A.J. Ellis moves back to the bench.
