Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell is not in the starting lineup on Monday night against Chicago White Sox.
Starter Jonathan Lucroy received an off-day yesterday, so Maxwell will head to the bench against White Sox starter Reynaldo Lopez.
Maxwell is projected for a .221 average over 346 plate appearances for the rest of the season.
