Lewis Brinson out of Marlins' lineup on Monday
Miami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson is not in Monday's lineup against the New York Yankees.
This is only the second time this season that Brinson isn't in the Marlins' lineup, but he's in the midst of a 1-for-36 (.028) slump at the plate, so a day off may be needed. Cameron Maybin will cover center field and bat seventh in today's series opener.
Brinson is averaging 3.7 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to bat .248 with 13 homers, 41 RBI, 34 runs scored, and 5 steals in 361 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
