Padres' Robbie Erlin to start Monday against Dodgers
According to The Athletic's Dennis Lin, San Diego Padres manager Andy Green confirmed that Robbie Erlin will start Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
Through five appearances, the 27-year-old right-hander has pitched well out of the Padres' bullpen. He has earned his opportunity to start, and if he is successful he could stick in the rotation for the rest of the year.
In 11.1 innings, Erlin has a 2.01 FIP with 9 strikeouts to 7 hits allowed.
