Los Angeles Angels pitcher Jaime Barria pitched five innings and won his major league debut Wednesday against the Texas Rangers.
In the Angels' 7-2 victory, the 21-year-old accounted for three strikeouts and three walks while holding Texas to one earned run and one hit. It was an impressive showing, but it's not enough to keep him in the bigs. Today, Barria is being sent back to Triple-A as the team calls on Nick Tropeano to start on Thursday.
At a price of $5,500, Barria turned in 27 FanDuel points at a value of 4.91 points per $1,000.
