Yonder Alonso sitting for Indians on Monday
Cleveland Indians first baseman Yonder Alonso is not in Monday's lineup against the Detroit Tigers.
Edwin Encarnacion will draw the start at first base and bat cleanup versus Tigers left-hander Francisco Liriano while Alonso grabs a seat on the bench. Jason Kipnis will play designated hitter and Erik Gonzalez will cover second base for Cleveland.
