Lonnie Chisenhall lands on Indians' disabled list with calf strain

Cleveland Indians outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right calf strain.

What It Means:

Chisenhall battled a calf issue during spring training and it forced him to make an early exit on Saturday but it's unclear how long the veteran outfielder will be sidelined. Tyler Naquin was recalled from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding roster move and will replace Chisenhall in right field on Sunday against the Kansas City Royals. Rajai Davis and Brandon Guyer also figure to see time in right field while Chisenhall is sidelined.

Chisenhall is averaging 7.1 FanDuel points per game this season. Prior to this move, numberFire's models projected him to bat .279 with 12 homers, 54 RBI, and 46 runs scored in 368 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
