CC Sabathia (hip) lands on Yankees' 10-day disabled list
New York Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right hip strain.
Sabathia suffered the injury during Friday's start against the Baltimore Orioles and it led to an early exit. The MRI revealed no structural damage, so he shouldn't be out for too long. In a correlated move, the Yankees called up a pair of right-handers from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in Luis Cessa and Domingo Germán.
Sabathia owns a 4.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 17.9 strikeout percentage across 9 innings this season and he's averaging 18.0 FanDuel points through two starts.
