Pedro Severino on Nationals' bench against Mets
Washington Nationals catcher Pedro Severino is not starting on Thursday against the New York Mets.
Severino went 0-for-1 with a hit-by-pitch, a run, and a strikeout as a starter on Wednesday. He's currently sporting a 1.524 OPS through seven plate appearances. Miguel Montero will handle catching duties for the Nationals on Thursday.
Severino is averaging 14.0 FanDuel points per game to start the season, but numberFire's models project him to bat only .185 in limited opportunity over the remainder of the season.
