Christian Yelich leaves Brewers' loss with oblique injury

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich left Wednesday's loss to the St. Louis Cardinals with a right oblique injury.

What It Means:

Yelich was replaced by Hernan Perez in the seventh inning but he told reporters it's not clear how or when the injury occurred. The 26-year-old outfielder has been excellent at the plate to start the year, going 10-for-26 with 2 doubles, 1 home run, 5 RBI, 6 runs scored, 1 walk, and 6 strikeouts through six games.

Yelich is averaging 14.1 FanDuel points per game this season. Assuming he doesn't miss an extended amount of time with the injury, numberFire's models project him to bat .293 with 20 homers, 80 RBI, 89 runs scored, and 14 steals in 629 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
