Arizona places Jake Lamb (AC Joint) on the 10-day DL

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb (AC Joint) has been placed on the 10-day DL.

What It Means:

Lamb banged his shoulder twice on Monday, suffering an AC Joint sprain in the process. No word on how long he will be out, but the club is hopeful for just the minimum 10 days. Deven Marrero is starting at third on Tuesday night. Matt Koch was called up in a corresponding move.

Our models projected Lamb for 24 home runs and a.256 batting average in 603 plate appearances before the injury.
