Nationals' Daniel Murphy (knee) progressing through rehab
Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy (knee) took grounders at second base on Sunday afternoon.
Mark Zuckerman of MASN says Murphy did "a lot of lateral movement." The 33-year-old veteran is still recovering from microfracture knee surgery he underwent last October and was placed on the disabled list before the season. Howie Kendrick and Wilfer Difo should continue handling things at second base for the Nationals until Murphy returns, which is expected to be in mid-April.
numberFire's models project Murphy to bat .303 while notching 22 home runs, 86 RBI and 78 runs scored in 569 plate appearances in 2018.
