Braves' Kurt Suzuki has x-rays come back negative on injured hand
According to MLB.com's Mark Bowman, Atlanta Braves catcher Kurt Suzuki had x-rays come back negative on his right hand.
The exam did not reveal a fracture in his hand, and the team is hopeful that he can return by Tuesday's game. There is a chance he'll avoid the disabled list, which would be big for a team already without one catcher, Tyler Flowers (oblique). Chris Stewart is in line to get starts in Suzuki's stead.
Our models project Suzuki for 11 home runs, 38 RBI and a .243 average over the rest of the 2018 season.
