Rangers' Delino DeShields (hand) suffers broken bone, placed on DL
Texas Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields suffered a broken hamate bone in his left hand and has been placed on the 10-day disabled list.
DeShields is expected to be out for about six weeks. He suffered the injury in an at-bat late in Friday's game. Carlos Tocci is starting in center Saturday, but Willie Calhoun could see more time in the field as well.
Our models project DeShields to tally 8 home runs, 33 RBI and 30 stolen bases during the 2018 campaign.
