Boston's Drew Pomeranz (forearm) throws 60 pitches in minor league start
According to The Boston Globe's Pete Abraham, Boston Red Sox pitcher Drew Pomeranz threw 60 pitches in a minor league on Wednesday.
Pomeranz didn't experience any forearm discomfort following the start. He was dealing with a forearm flexor strain that put him on the disabled list earlier in the week. He has the chance to return in the next couple of weeks for the Red Sox.
Over 153.5 innings, our models project Pomeranz to go 11-7 with 137 strikeouts and a 3.81 ERA in 2018.
