Oakland's Paul Blackburn to see doctor for forearm tightness
Oakland Athletics pitcher Paul Blackburn will see a doctor after dealing with forearm tightness.
What It Means:
Blackburn was expected to begin the season in the rotation, but manager Bob Melvin said Blackburn won't be available to start the season. Daniel Gossett is expected to take Blackburn's spot in the rotation.
In 2017, Blackburn posted a 3.22 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over 58 2/3 innings (10 starts).
