Update: Orioles, Alex Cobb agree on four-year deal

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the Baltimore Orioles and pitcher Alex Cobb have agreed to a four-year deal worth about $60 million.

What It Means:

It certainly held off for Cobb to hold out into the spring. He got a much better deal than Lance Lynn (one year, $12 million) and should play a big role in the Orioles' rotation this season.

Cobb posted a career-best 2.52 nERD a year ago. He has a 48-35 record and 3.50 ERA in six seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays.
