Dodgers' Justin Turner (wrist) won't require surgery
Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Justin Turner will not require surgery on his fractured left wrist.
He's still expected to miss four or five weeks with the injury, but not needing surgery is good news, cutting down his recovery time significantly. With Turner on the shelf, Logan Forsythe should handle most of the work at third base while Chase Utley and Enrique Hernandez split time at second to start the year.
numberFire's models project Turner to bat .283 while notching 21 home runs, 75 runs scored and 78 RBI over 583 plate appearances this season.
