Dodgers' Justin Turner diagnosed with a broken wrist

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his left wrist.

What It Means:

This is horrible timing for the Dodgers with the season just over a week away. This puts Turner's return sometime towards the end of May, because he will surely need rehab starts once his wrist is healed. Until Turner is back in action, Logan Forsythe seems like the best option at third base for the Dodgers.

Before going down with injury, our models projected Turner to produce a .283 batting average with 21 home runs, 75 runs scored, 78 RBI, and 7 stolen bases over 583 plate appearances.
