Josh Donaldson goes deep as Blue Jays force Game 5

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson blasted his second home run of the playoffs -- a two-run tater in the first inning -- as the Blue Jays beat the Texas Rangers, 8-4, Monday afternoon.

What It Means:

Donaldson's blast was one of three homers, as Chris Colabello and Kevin Pillar also went deep. The win forces a Game 5, which will be Wednesday back in Toronto.

It's impossible to overstate the value of Donaldson this season. The likely American League MVP finished the regular season with a .297/.371/.568 slash and 41 home runs in 711 plate appearances.
