Orioles' Mark Trumbo (quad) undergoing MRI
Baltimore Orioles outfielder/first baseman Mark Trumbo will undergo an MRI on his sore right quad, reports Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun.
Trumbo's quad issue popped up a week ago. He is not with the team as he hopes to uncover exactly what's going on with his nagging injury. Despite the soreness, he's still managed to appear in eight games this spring. But we could probably consider his status questionable for Opening Day.
Over 562 plate appearances, Trumbo is projected for 28 home runs, 73 RBI and a .242 average this season.
