Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Chase Anderson will be the Opening Day starter, manager Craig Counsell announced.
Counsell also said that Jhoulys Chacin will start one of the other games against the San Diego Padres in the Brewers' first series of the year. Anderson went 12-4 with a career-best 2.74 ERA last season.
numberFire's models project Anderson to record a 4.38 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 23.6 strikeout percentage across 158 1/3 innings while going 10-7 this season.
