New York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario (groin, knee) is expected to play designated hitter against the Detroit Tigers in Friday's Grapefruit League matchup.

An MRI came back clean after Rosario tweaked his groin earlier this week, so he should be ready to hop back in at shortstop for Saturday's date with the New York Yankees.
