Twins' Logan Morrison has tightness in glute
Minnesota Twins first baseman Logan Morrison is dealing with some tightness in his right glute.
What It Means:
Morrison made an early exit on Wednesday after sliding hard into home plate in the top of the third inning during a Grapefruit League matchup with the Boston Red Sox, but it's not believed to be a serious issue. The 30-year-old slugger hit .246/.353/.516 with a career-high 38 taters for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2017. He agreed to a one-year deal with the Twins late last month.
numberFire's models project Morrison to hit .247 with 32 home runs, 79 RBI, 74 runs scored, and 4 steals in 570 plate appearances this season.
