San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey (ankle) remains out of the Giants' Cactus League lineup on Wednesday.
Posey went 1-for-2 with a pair of RBI in his spring debut on February 25 and hasn't played since. There was some hope he would return for today's matchup, but the 30-year-old backstop may be dealing with more than a typical ankle sprain.
numberFire's models project Posey to bat .296 with 12 home runs, 69 RBI, 64 runs scored, and 7 steals in 564 plate appearances this season.
