Mets' Jacob deGrom (back) to throw live batting practice on Sunday

According to the New York Post's Mike Puma, New York Mets starter Jacob deGrom will throw a live batting practice session on Sunday.

What It Means:

Manager Mickey Callaway noted that deGrom could make his Grapefruit League debut next week, but that he would have to go through live BP on Sunday first. If he goes through that without a setback, he should be able to start moving past a back injury's that slowed his start to the spring.

Our models project deGrom for a 14-10 record, 3.63 ERA and 215 strikeouts in 2018.
