Buster Posey (ankle) out through Tuesday for San Francisco
San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey (ankle) will not play over the weekend, likely returning to action following Tuesday's off day.
Posey has been bothered by a left ankle injury and will rest for nearly a week to get right. The injury is not considered serious, but the club is just playing it safe with their All-Star.
Posey slashed .320/.400/.462 with 12 homers and 67 RBI in 568 plate appearances last season.
