Tigers' Travis Wood diagnosed with a sprained left knee
Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Travis Wood has been diagnosed with a sprained left knee after exiting Thursday's game.
Tigers manager Rob Gardenhire said Wood's knee "doesn't look good," and the team will wait and hope for the best. Wood will get an MRI on Friday morning, so we should have another update soon.
Wood struggled overall in 2017, posting a 6.30 ERA and 1.33 nERD over 94.0 innings pitched.
