Orioles' Jonathan Schoop battling elbow bursitis
Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop is dealing with bursitis in his left elbow.
It isn't clear how long Schoop will be out, but it's worth noting the injury is on his non-throwing arm. The 26-year-old second baseman banged the elbow on something and had to have it drained after dealing with swelling.
Schoop slashed .293/.338/.503 with 32 home runs, 92 runs scored, and 105 RBI in 675 plate appearances (160 games) last season.
