Athletics' Matt Chapman undergoing MRI on right hand
Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman left camp in Arizona on Thursday to undergo a precautionary MRI on his right hand back in Oakland.
Chapman began experiencing soreness in his hand earlier this week. More information should become available in the next couple of days.
Chapman slashed .234/.313/.472 with 14 home runs, 39 runs scored, and 40 RBI in 326 plate appearances (84 games) as a rookie last season.
