Pirates acquire Corey Dickerson from Rays
The Pittsburgh Pirates have acquired outfielder Corey Dickerson from the Tampa Bay Rays.
In return, the Rays are receiving reliever Daniel Hudson, minor leaguer Tristan Gray and cash considerations. Dickerson was designated for assignment last weekend, but the Pirates made an offer for the productive 28-year-old hitter. He's due $5.95 million this season and is arbitration eligible in 2019.
Last year, Dickerson hit 27 home runs with 62 RBI, a .344 wOBA and 0.78 nERD.
