Yankees land Brandon Drury from Diamondbacks in three-team trade
The New York Yankees have acquired third baseman/outfielder Brandon Drury in a three-team trade involving the Arizona Diamondbacks and Tampa Bay Rays.
As their part of the deal, the Yankees will send a minor league prospect to each team. Arizona gets outfielder Steven Souza in their return. Drury figures to start at third base and will provide some depth at second base, to boot.
Over 135 games, Drury hit 13 home runs with 63 RBI and a .267 average in 2017.
