Orioles agree to terms with Colby Rasmus
According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, he Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a minor-league deal with outfielder Colby Rasmus.
Rasmus is getting an invite to spring training and will compete for a platoon spot in right field. Last year, Rasmus was limited to 37 games due to a hip injury. He was placed on the disabled list prior to landing on the restricted list. The 31-year-old could certainly benefit from a new ballpark and a loaded lineup in Baltimore.
Rasmus slashed .281/.318/.579 with 9 home runs and 23 RBI in 129 plate appearances a year ago.
