Oakland Athletics catcher Josh Phegley (concussion) said Tuesday that "it's not looking good" for his return this season.
Phegley was diagnosed with a concussion last Friday and evidently hasn't experienced any improvements with the symptoms yet. With Stephen Vogt (groin) also not ready to catch yet, the Athletics' catching duties will be left to Carson Blair and Bryan Anderson.
If his season is indeed over, he'll finish with a .249/.300/.449 batting line and nine homers. His .323 wOBA is a career-high clip, as are the nine jacks.
