Dodgers' Charlie Culberson starting at shortstop in Game 1 of NLCS
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop/third baseman Charlie Culberson is starting in Game 1 of the NLCS.
With Corey Seager (back) not on the Dodgers' active roster, Culberson will be asked to step into Seager's shoes while hitting eighth against the Cubs' Jose Quintana.
For the matchup, Culberson brings in a career .246 average against left-handed pitching. He went 0-for-7 in last year's postseason run in L.A.
