Astros' Dallas Keuchel goes seven scoreless in Game 1 victory
Houston Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel struck out 10 batters while going seven scoreless innings in Friday's Game 1 win over the New York Yankees.
In a 2-1 win, Keuchel surrendered four singles and a walk over 109 pitches. He got the Astros to a great start, but is unlikely to pitch again until Game 5.
Keuchel improves to 2-0 with a 0.71 ERA and 12.1 strikeouts per 9 innings through 2 postseason games. For his career, the lefty is now 4-0 with a 1.69 ERA and 10.5 strikeouts per 9 in the playoffs.
