Astros' Josh Reddick (back) expected to be ready for ALDS
Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick is expected to be ready to play in the team's American League Division Series.
Reddick was absent from the lineup as he dealt with back issues for the final week of the season. But he did work out on Tuesday and will do the same on Wednesday. He might not start Thursday's Game 1 against the Boston Red Sox, but he should steal starts from Cameron Maybin and Derek Fisher sooner rather than later.
Over 540 regular season plate appearances, Reddick slashed .314/.363/.484 with 13 home runs and 82 RBI. His 1.14 nERD ranks 6th among all Houston hitters.
