Twins' Miguel Sano (shin) dealing with 'persistent discomfort'
Minnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano is dealing with "persistent discomfort" in his left shin, per manager Paul Molitor.
Sano had trouble getting through indoor batting practice on Monday, and has been left off the roster for the American League Wild Card Game against the New York Yankees on Tuesday night. If the Twins do advance, it looks like it will still be some time before Sano is able to return to the lineup.
Our Matchup Heat Map has the Twins with a weak 2.96 implied total tonight against Yankees' right-hander Luis Severnio.
