Matt Holliday is not in the Yankees' lineup for Tuesday's AL Wild Card Game
New York Yankees first baseman/designated hitter Matt Holliday is absent from the club's lineup on Tuesday against the Minnesota Twins.
As the Yankees square off with the Twins' Ervin Santana, Holliday will be on the bench as Greg Bird plays first and Jacoby Ellsbury takes over at DH for Tuesday's AL Wild Card contest.
At 37 years old, Holliday has tallied 19 home runs and 64 RBI in 427 plate appearances. He's a .247 hitter with 13 home runs in 72 career postseason games.
