Philadelphia Phillies shortstop/third baseman Freddy Galvis is absent from the club's lineup Saturday against the New York Mets.
As Galvis is provided a break on Saturday, J.P. Crawford will step into his spot at shortstop, hitting second against Mets' starter Seth Lugo.
Galvis has put together 12 home runs and a .301 wOBA on the year. He's projected to add 2 hits and a walk in 10 plate appearances the rest of the short way this season.
