Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Steven Souza will not start Saturday's contest against the Baltimore Orioles.
Souza is sitting out on Saturday, so Mallex Smith is starting in right field.
Over 613 plate appearances, Souza is hitting .240/.352/.462 with a career-high 30 home runs and 16 stolen bases.
