Astros' Dallas Keuchel to throw simulated game on Sunday
Houston Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel will throw a simulated game tomorrow, reports MLB.com's Brian McTaggart.
Sunday is Keuchel's normal day to pitch in the rotation, but Houston's holding him out until the ALDS. He will likely pitch Game 1 or 2 for the Astros as Collin McHugh pitches Sunday's regular season finale.
Keuchel is 14-5 with a 2.90 ERA and 3.78 FIP on the year. For his career, he is 2-0 with a 2.57 ERA and 1.071 WHIP in a pair of postseason starts.
