Yankees' Jaime Garcia scratched from Saturday start
New York Yankees pitcher Jaime Garcia has been scratched from Saturday's start against the Toronto Blue Jays.
According to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch, CC Sabathia will get the start in his place. There's been no report of injury so this is clearly a strategic move as the Yankees continue to battle for the AL East title.
Over his last 5 starts, Garcia is 0-2 with a 4.12 FIP and 4.15 walks per 9 innings. He's just 5-10 on the year while accounting for a 4.24 FIP and 2.36 nERD across 3 teams.
