St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler will not start Friday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Fowler is likely just getting a rest day with the Cardinals eliminated from the postseason. Tommy Pham is covering center field, and Randal Grichuk is starting in left field.
In 2017, Fowler is hitting .264/.363/.488 with 18 home runs and 7 stolen bases over 118 games. His 38.1% hard-hit rate is the highest of his career.
