New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner is out of the starting lineup for Friday's home game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
It's a routine day off for Gardner, and Aaron Hicks will start in left field while taking Gardner's spot at the top of the batting order.
Gardner has a .337 wOBA through 150 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .250 while adding 2 runs and 1 RBI in 13 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
