Andrelton Simmons out as Angels close series with White Sox
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is not starting on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox.
Simmons will be replaced at shortstop by Cliff Pennington for Thursday's series finale. He and a handful of other Angels' starters are being given the night off after they were eliminated from the playoffs on Wednesday night.
Simmons is averaging 9.5 FanDuel points per game this season while stealing 19 bases in 155 contests.
