Los Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton is not starting on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox.
Ben Revere will start in left field and lead off for the Angels while Upton heads to the bench versus right-hander Dylan Covey and the White Sox. It's no more than a day off after Los Angeles was eliminated from the playoff race on Wednesday.
Upton is averaging 12.7 FanDuel points per game this season while posting a .904 OPS with 35 home runs, 109 RBI, 99 runs scored, and 13 steals across 624 plate appearances (149 games).
