Franklin Barreto heads back to Oakland's bench on Thursday
Oakland Athletics second baseman/shortstop Franklin Barreto is not in the lineup on Thursday against the Texas Rangers.
What It Means:
Barreto will move over in favor of Jed Lowrie at second, while Jake Smolinski enters in center and Khris Davis takes back his DH duties.
Our models project Barreto for just 3 plate appearances the rest of the year. He's averaged 7.3 FanDuel points per game in 2017.
