Brian Dozier on Twins' bench for Thursday matinée
Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier is absent from Thursday's lineup against the Cleveland Indians.
It's likely just a maintenance day for Dozier, who is slashing .265/.352/.485 with a .837 OPS this season while posting 33 home runs, 90 RBI, 103 runs scored, and 16 steals across 673 plate appearances. Niko Goodrum will man second base and bat ninth in Thursday's series finale against right-hander Carlos Carrasco and the Indians.
Dozier is averaging 12.5 FanDuel points per game this season (150 contests).
