San Diego Padres catcher Luis Torrens is not starting on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Torrens went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout on Tuesday, but he's back on the bench for tonight's series finale against Dodgers left-hander Rich Hill. Austin Hedges will catch southpaw Clayton Richard and work out of the eight-hole for San Diego.
Torrens is 20-for-123 (.163) this season and averaging 2.9 FanDuel points per contest (55 games).
